Continuing the topic of Stephen King and his works.
I think he IS the King (I know, it must be cliche  Roll Eyes) of modern literature, at least of horror fiction. He's the only living author I read devotedly and he sure enters the history.

However, adaptations of his novels weren't very proper/suitable in spite of the fact that many of them are quite successful movies. At any rate I never 'heard' of his being content with them.

My favorite book by S.King would be "Pet Sematary". And I also liked "The Langoliers", "Misery", "The Mist" and "Salem's Lot".

What is your opinion?  Huh

"Pet" is simply, brilliant, disturbing, and unforgettable.

I never trusted clowns after watching "It".

Stephen King definitely has changed or evolved horror fiction. I think he's always being very creative.  His style of writing is what wins me over and why I enjoy reading whatever he writes.  And King isn't even my favorite horror/dark fiction author.

The way he can make a very dark and disturbing moment seem funny with his sense of humor, and the way he can make a seemingly ordinary moment scary is why in my opinion King is a brilliant storyteller.
