Deception Point This was actually my first Dan Brown book. I had no interest whatsoever in the Da Vinci Code until i picked this up at the recommendation of my friend (who hates reading). I do admit though, the story and escapes can go a little over the top and Rachel Sexton's father as the stereotypical politician was so exaggerated that i found it amusing. I read this and i couldn't put it down until i finished and Dan Brown's other books paled in comparison. Great book if you hadn't gotten used to Dan Brown's formulaic approach to writing.
