I have been neglecting my books, it's horrible and I know it. I've spoken to them and explained that life actually intrudes on your fantasy world every once in a while and you have to PUT THE BOOK DOWN (I don't think I'm forgiven yet). So here is my little venture into the life of Bronwyn the witch by Candace Havens, LOVED IT…. I read all three books back to back, so it is difficult to just review them individually. The first one, "Charmed and Dangerous" introduced you to the main characters and helped you understand the construct of the world Bronwyn lives in. The second one, "Charmed and Ready" just pick right up where the last one left off, you hardly hard time to breathe with all the stuff the characters were into. The third and final (so far), "Charmed and Deadly" just kept you on the end of your seat. Wow, so tell me do you feel tired, I certainly do. I love the series and the author and of course, the badass witch the books are about (Bronwyn you are my girl).
I enjoyed that fact that the series is in conversation format so the author could go on tangents like you would in your own diary. It helps the reader to connect with the character better than a third person account of what happens.
I'm changing my diary to sound more like this every day, hmmmm gonna have to get a spell book….
Potions: 30 Spells: 2
Dead demons: 1
Witch's friends who are boys: too many.
