In the Underground, the old city hidden under Seattle, there are sightings of a more sinister looking creature. Is it the one responsible for the missing and dead people?
Harper and her friend Quinton are pulled into the investigation and have to look into the past of the city to find a killer that has been stalking the city for a long time. The monster is on the loose and it is hungry. If Harper doesn't try to put a stop to it nobody will and she can only hope it won't get to her first.
This series is urban paranormal fantasy at its best. Kat Richardson has created something unique and peppered it with all kinds of paranormal to make it even more tastier. In this third book in the series the reader is introduced to a Native American monster and also some magic, ghosts and vampires. This is dark, creepy, addictive and a series that will have you on the edge of your seat screaming for more.
In Underground there are some particularly interesting historical facts mingled into the story and I found myself wanting to visit Seattle and visit the places mentioned. The characters are realistic and likable while the plot is just crazy but wonderful. I am a huge fan of this series and can't wait for the next part in the Greywalker series and hope it won't take too long to be released. I hate the wait. Review By Amberkatze |
