 VICTOR GISCHLER is the author of four novels. GUN MONKEYS was nominated for the Edgar Allan Poe Award for best first novel. He followed up with two satirical crime novels THE PISTOL POETS and SUICIDE SQUEEZE. His next novel SHOTGUN OPERA was published in Spring '06. His work has been translated into Japanese, French, Spanish and Italian. He earned his Ph.D. in English from the University of Southern Mississippi. He lives in the wilds of Skiatook, Oklahoma with his wife Jackie and his son Emery. Victor is a world traveler and a chicken wing aficionado. He likes Abba, Blade Runner, Frank Sinatra, Johnny Cash, Casablanca, Lost In Translation, Warren Zevon, The Simpsons and red, red wine. He plays golf so bad he should be arrested. |
