Born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta, Maggie now lives close to the ocean in Nova Scotia, Canada. Maggie served as a member of the Canadian forces for six years, and so there is an underlying love and respect for members of the military that works its way into her romantic fiction. A full-time professional writer and speaker, Maggie also applies her experience as an educator and a Ph.D. in career development to human resource issues. These days she is also working on her second novel and taking regular walks on a nearby beach.
