Her employer was a fair enough man, a little odd but surely no threat. He had never coerced her into any action where she wasn't comfortable. This book was a decent read, with a solid plot underlying all of the "action" so to speak. My one concern was the whole "vampire" think. To me the book could have been just as good, if not better without the vampire bit playing in. It would seem the author might be looking to a sequel, and the last line does allude to the vampire bits and the potential for a sequel, but otherwise it seems unnecessary.
