| The author gives a very nice twist to angel and vampire mythology and the characters are interesting. Review By Betelgeuze | | Unfamiliar with this author, I won her book a little while ago. When I started to read it, I couldn't put it down! I've already looked for the next in the series and nearly finished her Changeling/Psy series as well. She puts the research into what she is writing about so that you are not bogged down in facts but the world is rich, realistic and brimming with color. You fully believe what she puts into her world because it is so well rounded and delivered. While the action is riveting and spaced well through out the book, it's the relationships that develop from book to book that are the most amazing. She isn't one of those authors that will forget about people from one book to the next or give a trite wrap up of them married with kids and that b the end of it. Their lives intertwine with each other and each relationship from each book just adds to the next. I'm wary of new authors and am thrilled to have opened up to reading her stuff, now if only there were more books for me to read! Review By Sabiruna |
